I started my business back in 2021 after photographing an engagement shoot and immediately falling in love with couples photography. I’m as sentimental as they come, which means I found the perfect career for myself.
As a documentary photographer, my job is to capture your wedding as authentically as I can. I’m right there with you, capturing all the little magical interactions that make up your wedding day. I want to capture all ranges of emotions; the joy, the anticipation, the happy tears, the full belly laughter.
My photography style is dreamy, documentary and timeless. This means I use my creative eye and experience at photo-based art college to bring you photos that look like art. My photos are here to stand the test of time because I edit in a timeless style that focuses on natural and balanced colours, strong black and whites, and with a cinematic and film-inspired feel.
In 2019, I graduated from a small art college based in Ottawa with a degree in Photographic Arts and Production. I am part of the queer community and I am overjoyed to document love of all kinds!
Hi, I’m Lauren.
I don’t want your day to feel like one big, posed photoshoot.
I do want you to immerse yourself in your wedding day; to be present and enjoy it.
You be you, and leave the documenting to me.

I’m currently obsessed with my house plants, online chess, thrift shopping, reading fiction (the more absurd the book the better) and collecting vintage film cameras.

An earning morning at the gym, followed by a coffee date featuring an oat milk latte and a good book. Time spent outside in nature is a must, and so is a good cuddle at home with my cats. Throw in some thrifting and you have my perfect day.

I’ve been a barista for many years, as well as a social media manager, web designer and a retail worker. I now work part-time as a florist in the off season. I love floristry because it allows me to be creative.
